Operation Golden Wish
The Kindness Club Launches “Operation Golden Wish” — A heartfelt initiative bridging generations through compassion and connection. Empowering Students to be difference makers by turning wishes into reality for nursing home residents.
Operation Golden Wish will bring joy, dignity, and human connection to elderly residents. Every person, no matter their age, deserves to be seen and understood. Elementary students will visit nursing home residents, spend time getting to know them, and form genuine bonds and connections through laughter, stories, and shared understanding.
Each resident is invited to share three personal wishes. The students then go shopping for items designed to grant those wishes.
- For residents, it brings companionship, excitement, and the reaffirmation that their stories and dreams still matter.
- For students, it offers a transformative experience, an opportunity to develope compassion, emotional intelligence, and a deeper appreciation for the lives and wisdom of older generations.
At its core, Operation Golden Wish is a celebration of humanity. We invite you to share in this life-changing experience, because everyone deserves a little gold in their days—and a wish come true.

While we may have started out in Arizona, this is only the beginning. Our hope is to expand The Kindness Club as far as you can take it. Teachers, parents, students, and neighbors can spread kindness – wherever they are.

The Kindness Club’s Arizona chapter has over 30 student members, with many mentoring new members.
