Testimonials
At the Kindness Club, we believe that even the smallest gestures can make a world of difference in someone’s life. We’re a program dedicated to fostering empathy, compassion, and generosity in children. We teach them the importance of looking beyond themselves and finding ways to uplift others through random acts of kindness. Here’s what they have to say about their experiences…
From Cooper Herzog
What has participating in Operation Secret Santa meant to you?
“Being a part of Secret Santa allowed me to experience the true joy of giving. It gave me the opportunity to help others in a small but meaningful way, and through that, I felt a genuine sense of connection. Sharing in their happiness and feeling their love made the experience incredibly special and heartwarming.”
What have you learned?
“I’ve learned that even the smallest gesture can have a big impact. It feels incredibly rewarding to know that others appreciate your kindness. I’ve also come to understand that genuine connection doesn’t require money. Something as simple as asking someone how their day is can make them feel seen, valued, and loved.”
What’s the most amazing thing you’ve experienced through this project?
“The most amazing experience I’ve had is feeling the love and joy from others. When you genuinely take the time to check in on someone or really get to know them, they feel seen and appreciated and they often respond with so much love and kindness in return. It’s a beautiful reminder of how powerful human connection can be. And let’s not forget all the hugs we shared, that closeness made it even more special.”
How do you think this experience has changed your life?
“This experience has changed my life by helping me appreciate the small things and never take anything for granted. It taught me that when you show kindness to others, it often brings out the best in them and in return, everyone becomes more grateful and connected. It’s a powerful reminder of how simple acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.”
From Madelyn Herzog
“The kindness club has helped me be more thoughtful and has taught me to be more confident when talking to a stranger. I now realize that even a smaller act of kindness can change someone’s day, week, year, or life! I’ve learned to be a positive person and to help others when they struggle.”
“I think the kindness club is important because it lets you come together with friends and work on being polite, respectful, thoughtful, and mindful. I have learned to stop and think about how my choices and actions impact others. In addition to working to be kind to others I have also learned to be kind to myself and always be thinking of ways to make good choices and improve myself.”
From Alexa Shrum
“The Kindness Club has impacted me by giving me an opportunity to help people and to spread joy and positivity into other people’s lives. I get to see people’s faces when we help them and it just makes you feel amazing inside.”
“I think the kindness club is important because it’s teaching kids and adults that you never know what someone is going through and even just a smile could make someone’s entire day. We’ve helped a lot of people and all of the hard work that we put into it pays off in the end when we see the look on the people’s faces.”
